Location: Scottsdale AZ-100% Onsite

Contract/Perm: Contract

Duration: 7/1/26 - 11/30/26

Pay rate: $25 per hour

9:00 AM - 6:00 PM (local time), Monday-Friday-Opportunities for overtime, including evenings and weekends, may be available

Position Summary

The Associate Operations Coordinator plays a critical role in ensuring the efficient execution of transportation and logistics operations. This position supports daily operational activities, collaborates with customers and carriers, and ensures data accuracy while maintaining a high level of service quality and efficiency.

Duties and Responsibilities

The duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Execute operational tasks in alignment with company policies and standard operating procedures (SOPs), including:
    • Creating orders and activating shipments
    • Building, assigning, and booking loads
    • Scheduling appointments
    • Tracking and tracing shipments
    • Invoicing and updating financials
    • Managing non-standardized carrier payment activities (e.g., T-cheks)
    • Rejecting and cancelling orders
    • Updating and resolving events
    • Bouncing loads and executing load builder profiles
  • Monitor task boards and assigned email accounts to respond promptly to customer and carrier requests
  • Document events accurately using SOPs and experience; follow escalation procedures as needed
  • Follow through on customer and carrier inquiries to ensure timely resolution and satisfaction
  • Validate and maintain accuracy of load data within internal systems according to company and customer standards
  • Escalate questions, discrepancies, or issues when appropriate
  • Perform additional responsibilities as assigned based on team or regional requirements

Qualifications Required

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Minimum 1 year of experience as an Associate Operations Coordinator
  • Ability to work evenings and/or weekends as needed
  • For external candidates: Minimum 2 years of call center, customer service, or transportation/logistics experience

Preferred

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)
  • Previous customer service experience in a call center or similar environment
  • Strong communication, prioritization, and time management skills
  • Proven attention to detail and accuracy
  • Commitment to working in a diverse and inclusive environment

This role operates in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment requiring strong attention to detail, multitasking, and customer service skills. Flexibility to support extended hours or additional shifts may be required based on business needs.
